Have you long been looking for a friendly, knowledgeable and semi competitive fishing club? Then congratulations -

Our club was established in 1978 and we welcome new members to our club to talk with members who really enjoy their fishing and also socialising through  trips, BBQs and our social functions.

Our competitions cater for adults and and are held across the waters of Estuary, Freshwater, Saltwater and Surf venues around Melbourne as well as country areas such as Purrumbete, Eildon, Swan Reach, Lake Tyers and Port Welshpool. Due to having no Juniors or  midgets members there is no competition for them at this time but they are very welcome to attend with their parents.

Our angling season runs from July to June each year with a presentation night held in July.

General Meetings

1st Wednesday of each month (February to December inclusive) at  7.30 pm.

Guest Speaker nights:

Due to the pandemic we have not held these nights but they are usually held on the 3rd Wednesday of February, April, June, August and October at 7.30 pm.  We give our members and visitors the opportunity to learn from the skills of many experienced guest speakers as well as enjoying the company of our members in a most relaxed atmosphere.  Any suggestions for topics or information or a particular speaker are most welcome.

At all our meetings a light supper is able to be purchased and drinks are at bar prices.

Other functions:

We have at least 2 social events during the year which have included a very successful Trivia Night with a Spit Roast dinner.

The club presentation night is held in July each year.

Our annual Christmas BBQ is held on either the 1st or 2ndSaturday in December.
